More SALES, Less WASTE with BA58

Supplier delivers Bon Appetit products frozen.

Retailer stores backstock inventories in the COOLERS or FREEZERS

All our products may be stored up to 30-Days in the Cooler or One Year in the Freezer without compromising the products’ SELLING shelf life.

All Bon Appetit products have a 28-Days shelf life after slacking and placing on displays.

Implementing this practice allows for more than a year to sell through inventories when backstock is stored in the freezer, and up to 58-Days (30-days in the cooler + 28-days on display) to sell through inventories when backstock is stored in the cooler, without compromising the products’ integrity or superior quality.

Stock Guidelines

PAR LEVELS and ordering

To avoid out of stocks, lost sales, and lost profits, set PAR LEVELS based on COOLER INVENTORIES not products remaining on the displays.

All Bon Appetit ORDERS should be based off inventories remaining in the COOLERS not products on the displays.

Place orders to replenish established COOLER PAR LEVELS.

Establishing Cooler Par Levels,
Restocking, & Ordering

Review Sales Data

Review historical sales data and establish sales by item between deliveries.

Well Stocked Displays

Regularly refill displays dedicated to Bon Appetit products (inline space, floor racks, counter racks, etc.).

Count Remaining Inventories

Do not count products placed on the selling displays as part of the on-hand inventories. Example, when ordering roller grill items, the items already on the roller grill are not counted as on hand inventory.

Order to Replenish Inventories

Order to replenish inventories to the cooler par levels you have already established.

IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO RESTOCK AN ENTIRE CADDIE BOX AT A TIME, YOU MAY RESTOCK THE SELLING DISPLAYS WITH A FEW UNITS EACH TIME TO MAINTAIN PRESENTABLE AND SELLABLE STOCK LEVELS
